Violet

I composed the music for the new short film by Nadine Asfour.

Violet won an award for "Best Score in Short Film" at the North Film Festival 2022 in Stockholm, Sweden and was nominated in the category "Best LGBTQ Short Film".
Also, the film was on british TV as part of the Film Pride 2022 festival and there was a screening at the Generation Tochter Festival in Berlin.

The film follows the young, reserved art student Blue, who struggles with feelings for her fellow student Violet.
When trying to process her thoughts in a painting, she is drawn into the canvas. There she has to face her own fear, which refuses to allow her feelings for Violet and puts Blue in danger of losing her identity.
